No Cure for my Tree?

How many times have you read about a Tree Condition or Infection, and when you reach the end of the article you are told there is “no treatment” for that problem? What does that really mean?

Do a search on things like… Boxwood Decline, Verticillium Wilt, Hypoxolon Canker, and others. When you read the results, you’ll be told there is “No Treatment” for these (and other issues). It is not true. Why do they say it then?

“No Treatment” really means there is no “Chemical Treatment”. There is no quick, convenient, and easy solution to the problem. The industry has not found a profitable, scalable, solution that can be applied without any required level of intelligence, or experience. That is what “No Treatment” really means.

Treatment Products and Application Processes must be chosen for the lowest common denominator. Oak Wilt is a good example. I can teach someone to do Injections in a few hours, by the end of the day, they are Oak Wilt “Specialists”.

There is a cure for everything. Whether we have found it or not, there is a solution. Sometimes, it’s just a little more complicated. Nature has a solution for everything, and in all fairness sometimes death is the solution. I found with trees if you do a little more work, there is a lot that can be done to prevent, correct, and Remediate. You just have to stop thinking in a “Production” mindset. The solution is not always a labeled “product”, that is easy to apply…. Sometimes the solution is the “product” of hard work, a little vision, and years of experience…

So if you’ve heard there is “No Treatment” for what ails your tree, Go here, www.arboristjohn.com and you will likely find one…
