The Oblique Arborist

When clients ask how my approach is different, and why it works, I usually point them to the soil. That’s where the bulk of my work is done. You see the soil is the pantry, (which is where we all keep food). If the soil isn’t healthy, there is no way the plant is healthy.

It may be green (for now), it may have new growth (for now), but it will not last. It’s green for the same reason I am awake at 7AM… stimulants (coffee). The Synthetic Fertilizers that we have been taught to apply, and the chemicals behind them to fix the problems those fertilizers are causing are just a never ending game of “Whack-a-Mole”. The real goal is recurring revenue. It’s been built to last a while too…

It’s why we’ve done injections for 30+ years with no new approach… until now.

Dr. Elaine Ingham (The Soil Food Web) had this to say about some of the science peers (Professors) she was working with at the University… “I realized then that the reason why none of these soil people, the agronomists, the plant biologists, the botanists, all of those people… there was no source of money for them to switch to understanding nature. There was no company that would give them the grants, that would give them the funding. All these chemical companies are out there. They (the Universities) don’t want to bite the hand that feeds them. They don’t want to destroy the cash cow. They didn’t want to hear this and I was kind of relegated to the back row not getting any financial support and not getting any ability to get a plot on the research farm.” – Dr. Elaine Ingham

Do it right, it’s worth it. In the end you will spend more on fertilizers, and the many corrective procedures triggered by those fertilizers, and have lesser Trees, and Ornamentals. There will be more disease, less health and vigor. All while feeding some companies revenue machine.

We are getting it right, I promise. Actually I guarantee. If we are feeding your Soil and Trees with our BioFeed, any vascular disease issues the trees may contract (like Oak Wilt) are treated free.
